Q1. What is the secure Reference Database Management System (sRDMS)?
A1. The secure Reference Database Management System (sRDMS) is a secure database designed by industry professionals to facilitate the process of requesting and providing references. In principle the sRDMS has been developed as a user-friendly method of automating the referencing process, acting as the 'administrator' between past and prospective employers. The result is the elimination of the manpower duplication, the inaccuracies and the costs currently associated with referencing.
Q2. How does the sRDMS work?
A2. The sRDMS works by acting as a secure database warehouse for all departing employee 'employment verification' details. Once stored on the sRDMS, Prospective Employers and Recruitment Agencies are then directed to the Internet interface (www.refero.co.uk) to retrieve all employment references. These references can only be accessed via the Internet interface using authorised user names, passwords and specific employee details. Unlike the current referencing process this solution means past employers will only ever need to provide ONE reference for any individual employee.
